This page explains what NFL Pickems (nfl-pickems.demo.mybaibs.ai) collects, why, who else touches it, how long we keep it, and how to reach us. We keep it short on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email support@mybaibs.com.
What we collect
Your account. Name, email address, hashed password.
Your picks. The picks you make each week, your results, and the standings they produce.
We do not buy data about you, and we do not use tracking pixels or advertising cookies. The site uses only the cookies and local storage it needs to keep you signed in and remember your settings.
Why we use it
To run a private pick'em pool among people the commissioner invites, score it, and email the weekly recap.
We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or add you to a marketing list.
Artificial intelligence
The weekly recap email is drafted with AI from the week's picks and results (names and picks only, nothing else about you). Those are sent to OpenAI to write the recap; the commissioner starts each one by hand.
Who else handles your data
We run NFL Pickems on servers we rent from DigitalOcean (United States). The following companies also process data for us, each only for the job named:
- OpenAI (recap writing; United States).
- Google (delivers the recap email).
We do not give your data to anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Picks and standings are kept for the season and past seasons so the pool has a history; they are deleted when the pool closes or when the commissioner removes your account. To be removed from the pool, ask the commissioner or email support@mybaibs.com.
Server request logs are kept only as long as we need them to keep the service running and secure.
Your choices
To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, email support@mybaibs.com. We act on requests within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm you are the account holder first.
Age
NFL Pickems is for adults (18 and over). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if you believe we have, email support@mybaibs.com and we will delete it.
Security
Accounts are protected by hashed passwords and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you.
Changes
When this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it, and the new version is posted here.
